Opening in 1901, this shop has had a watchmaker and Jeweller since the arcade was opened.

Boasting the one of the last watchmakers still making watches in Australia, Time Concept is a traditional store that prides itself on quality service.

From watch repair to reconstruction, to replacing batteries in any watch, remote opener or organizer. Repairing and rebuilding Jewellery is also part of the service.

The shop also has a selection of assorted giftware for the animal lover.

Time Concept Master Watchmakers was established in 1964 by Miss Anne Ridgeway, and has relocated to Royal Arcade in 1997 to continue the tradition of expert watchmakers in this location.

WE ARE RELOCATING ON 24TH OF JUNE 2008

Due to increased costs we can no longer continue to operate from this location, and with regret it is time for us to downsize.

The workshop will be relocated to a “Sea change Location” in beautiful country Victoria.

We wish to assure our existing customers that all repairs left in our care will be completed, and customers will be contacted on completion as usual.

Initially there will be a slight delay while we are setting up a new workshop, this time delay will be compensated once the workshop is again in running order, Anne will be able to work without disruptions and distractions of running an inner city shop. In fact, we should be able to finish your repairs/restorations a lot faster then before.
